Stokastique has a long history in ESOPs. Other firms consult to ESOPs, we led ESOPs. As operators of the firm, we understand the impact on the financials and employees of the company. In addition, we have acquired 10+ companies and exited the ESOP creating many staff millionaires.
Leadership
Thomas Totten, FSA, PhD
Tom is a founder of Stokastique, an actuary, and retired CEO and Chair of Nyhart, a long term ESOP. During his tenure at Nyhart, he acquired over 10 firms using the ESOP tax advantages. He also has been a professor at the University of Notre Dame and serves on multiple ESOP boards including a number of global ESOPs.
Lisa Hague, CPA, MBA
Lisa is a founder of Stokastique and has served as CFO and CEO of Nyhart. She negotiated Nyhart's acquisitions and ultimately Nyhart's sale to the largest independent recordkeeper in the country. In addition, she is involved in women's business causes and serves on an ESOP board.
